Discussion Section Schedule - Spring 2012

Prior to each discussion section you are required to read the assigned articles and complete the associated worksheets. Worksheets are submitted at the beginning of class. You can purchased the Best American Science Writing 2010 (BASW) paperback in the bookstore or online at Amazon. PDF files of journal articles are linked to their titles in the table below. Word doc files of worksheets, which are numbered 1-9, are linked to the numbers in column 4 of the table below. You can save the Word docs to your computer at home and answer questions directly on the documents before printing them out. I highly recommend doing this. It will help you tremendously when its time to write your article summaries.

During the last 5 weeks of the semester students will be working in groups to prepare and present research talks. Attendance is required and participation points will be earned.
