• The trapezium is aligned with metacarpal I.
• The trapezoid is aligned with metacarpal II.
• The capitate is aligned with metacarpal III.
• The hamate is aligned with metacarpals IV & V.

Proximal Row
• The scaphoid is aligned with the radius.
• The lunate is aligned with ulna.
• The pisiform is the little “pea.”
• The triquetrum is the only other bone to which the pisiform is attached.
