BMS107 Plus Hours Assignment - Selected Articulations
  1. Select two (2) articulations ("joints") of the human body.
    • The articulations may belong to the same category or to different categories.
    • The categories may be reviewed, if necessary, by clicking here.
  2. Compare and contrast the structures and functions of the two articulations, including, at a minimum:
    • the "fit" of the articulating structures
    • the connective tissues associated with the articulations
    • their relative degrees of stability or mobility
    • specific movements allowed
  3. Write a brief (approx. 500 word) report on the two articulations you selected, compared, and contrasted.
  4. Reports may be submitted electronically (by e mail) or on "hard copy" (paper).
  5. If submitting by e mail, please include, in the subject line: the first letter of the day you attend lab (W, T, or F), "bms107p3," and your first and last names, for example, "Tbms107p3AndreasVesalius".
  6. Please save a copy of your work until credit is posted.
