The Biology Club is fundraising for our spring fieldtrips and activities:
• Tidepooling and Beach Potluck at Coal Oil Point/Deveruex on Friday, March 6th after the Biology Club Meeting
(about 2 pm to 6:30 pm).
• (Tentatively scheduled) Beach Clean-up at Arroyo Burro Beach on Saturday, March 7th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM with possible BBQ after; needs SB Park & Rec. confirmation. The club can earn $200 for the cleanup.
• Trip to visit the REEF marine educational facility at UC Santa Barbara on April 10th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
• Diving certification classes with the Biology Club are being organized for the weekends of April 17-19 and April 24-26.
• A Club hike to Seven Falls, Jesusita Trail or similar on April 24th
• A camping trip to Morro Bay on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd.
• A fieldtrip to the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens with Dr. Bob Cummings TBA
• A kindergarten biology education presentation TBA
• An excursion to the SB or LA Natural History Museum and/or SB Zoo TBA
